Invest in the future of a child in Newton County. · In partnership with the Dolly Parton Foundation, The Learning Center not only provides free books for children birth to age 5, but we educate their parents, grandparents and caregivers about how crucial it is in early brain development to read to your child on a regular basis. · The Learning Center of Newton County was found and is currently ran by Local Educators and Business Leaders that not only believe but have personally seen the results Instead of sending a mug, flowers, or apple-shaped trinket give something that will be treasured for a lifetime – the gift of helping a child learn to read.  The Learning Center is offering parents the opportunity to make a donation in honor of their child’s teacher or caregiver so that more Newton County children will go to school ready to read. Two Ways to send your gift... For your gift of $10 or more, The Learning Center will provide either an email message or note card recognizing your honoree. You can simply fill out the form below and tell us if you would like to have cool looking e-mail sent to your honoree or if you would like to pick up a hard copy gift card at our office.  Either way you may purchase your gift online via paypal using your debit or credit card (just remember to include your honoree’s email address).  If you'd like to pay by cash or check, contact The Learning Center office at 770.787.2778. Remember... A $30 contribution provides one Newton County child with an Imagination Library book every month for a year and your contribution is tax-deductible.
