About TLCOur ProgramsLeap Into Books
Imagination Library

When parents, grandparents, or caregivers attend a 30-minute workshop about how to help their child go to school ready to read, they can sign up any child under the age of 4 1/2 who lives in Newton County to receive a free, age-appropriate book in the mail every month until the child's fifth birthday.

The Learning Center of Newton County wants every child to have the opportunity to participate in the Imagination Library program. Here's how the program works...

  • Attend a workshop by The Learning Center
  • Sign your child or grandchild up to receive 1 (one) book per month
  • Each month a book is mailed to the child FREE OF CHARGE!
  • Participants will receive information at the presentation about how they can also receive a free "Little Engine That Could" BOOKEND SET per family

Check out our Presentation Schedule BELOW to find the date and time that is most convenient for you to attend.

The Learning Center will gladly schedule a 30-minute workshop for groups of 7 or more. Both workshop and the Imagination Library books are free!

Workshops for July through September 2008 will be posted soon!
